Our women’s pennants team were promoted last season back up to the top grade. After a period of not having enough available players, when we joined the competition again, they had to work their way back up from the bottom grade. They’ve been promoted for consecutive years, so now the real challenge commences!
Playing in the opening week was, Sarah, Yvonne, Nina, and Kay. Playing out at Tawa, they got a close win in the morning against Petone Central, then went down to a strong Naenae team in the afternoon.
