The club ventured south to Island Bay for our annual friendly fixture yesterday. Island Bay put on a good green, tough competition, and a great feed at the end of the afternoon. Results were close with Victoria winning the first and second rounds 3 matches to 2 but were only able to fend off a resurgent Island Bay 2 matches to 3 on the last bowl to defend the trophy 8 matches to 7 overall.
