Peter Toomey- club stalwart, life member, dad and all round good guy- passed away on Sunday. His funeral will be held at St Joseph’s Catholic church in Mt Victoria at 1pm this Friday 15th April. VBC would like to invite everyone back to the club after the funeral.
Peter was President in 2000-02, and won five club titles starting with the singles in 1993-94 and finishing with a ‘three-Pete’ in the fours 2012-15 which had not been done before in the club’s history where the same team won the men’s fours for three successive seasons.
