Congratulations to the Victoria team in the Wellington Catholic Interparish indoor bowls league. The team of Robyn and Peter Rintoul, Mary-Ann Wilson and Rich Corry were assured of winning the title for the second time in three seasons when they turned up to the final night at Berhampore on Thursday night.
It has been a particularly successful season for Mary-Ann who was also in the winning Hutt Valley A grade team playing for Vogelmorn. Mary-Ann may face up against the Victoria team for the Greater Wellington Champ of Champ Interclub competition on 16th September in Porrirua, for which Roy Gibb will make an appearance as a super sub.
