Congratulations to Lisa White and Helen King for winning the Wellington Easter 2-4-2 Pairs. It was just as well they went on to win as they knocked out two other Victoria combinations on their way to the title. And for the second week in a row, the final became a crucially important Victoria v Petone Central dual for the Bowls Wellington Womens Club of the Year. Debbie Hanna went down in both finals, this time with a 15-11 scoreline to Victoria. Despite winning three Centre titles and Wellington and Regional interclub, Victoria can not yet claim the Club of the Year which will go down to the last event.
This win gives Helen her 22nd Wellington Womens Centre title which is the 3rd most in history, and Lisa her 7th title.
Johnsonville did enough to secure the Mens Club of the Year title. Victoria fell one place to 4th in the race.
