Selector Lou Newman has announced the Mens Premier Interclub team to compete in the Regional Playoffs at the West End club in New Plymouth on Saturday 2nd March. The team is as follows:
Singles: Laurie GuyPairs: Richard Corry & Raymond Martin
Fours: Roy Gibb, Tim Toomey, Jamie Coleman & Lou Newman
Manager: Neil Reid
Alf De Munnik was unavailable due to family commitments.
Victoria will be up against Alton (Taranaki), Aramoho (Wanganui), and the surprise winner of the Kapiti Coast competition over the weekend Raumati South. Their winning team was:
Singles: Phil Edwards
Pairs: Kurt Burgess & Reg Goston
Fours: Ron Snowden, Russell Stevenson, Gil Lowry & Pat McCleary
All supporters are welcome. Please indicate you are going on the blackboard so we can organise cars as the club will be paying petrol for up to 4 cars. Accommodation in New Plymouth is also apparently in hot demand that weekend.
