Well done to Barry O’Brien and Laurie Guy, teamed with Jamie Hill (Auckland) who matched their 2011 performance by reaching the semifinals of the New Zealand Open Triples at the Henderson greens today. The trio went down 11-15 to a North Harbour triple skipped by Murray Mathieson.
Kirsten Griffin continued her good form by reaching the quarterfinals of the women’s triples also in a composite team skipped by Auckland’s Reen Stratford. Kirsten plays the televised singles final on Friday.
