Congratulations to Roy Gibb and Gary Ruane who fought from behind in many matches during the club champ pairs and then the Wellington Mens Champ of Champ Pairs to reach the semifinals at the Hutt club over the weekend. The Victoria pair lost to Lyall Bay’s Tony Tomlinson and Brian Petherick 22-11.
Leigh and Kirsten Griffin reached the quarterfinals of the Womens Champ of Champ Pairs before going down 15-12 to the eventual winners and fellow mother-daughter combination of Linda Sollitt and Meryle Mackie (Hutt).
