Early money has gone on last year’s 100-1 outsiders Robbie Bird and Jayden Ravji pulling off another win in this year’s 20th Speight’s Victoria Invitation 2-4-2 Pairs. They are not so much a dark horse this year starting at 26-1 in the odds.
The defending champs will need to get through 5 time champion Gary Lawson and partner Justin Goodwin in section play. The favourites on the TAB are current internationals Shannon McIlroy and Mike Kernaghan.
The field also includes former champion pairs Steve Glavas and Rex Holmes, and Ray Boffa with Rob Ashton.
