Congratulations to Ray Martin and partner Robbie Bennett (Titahi Bay) for winning the Paraparaumu Beach invitation 2-4-2 pairs over the weekend. They were too strong for John Roberts and Wally Hurley (Taranaki) in the final with the last two ends being conceded.
Laurie Guy with partner Scott Roddick (Eastbourne) nearly made it to the final beating the Taranaki pair in their last game but falling one shot short on differential.
