Congratulations to Nicole Toomey (St. Mary’s College) for a hard fought defence of her national secondary schools singles title in Hamilton, falling on the final day in the semifinals to Savanna Lauder (Whangarei Girls High) 20-8. Nicole had beaten Savanna on both the previous two days in section play.
