Nicole Toomey completed the first part of her journey to retain her secondary schools crown by defending her Wellington Secondary Schools girls singles title at the Johnsonville club on Tuesday.
Nic (representing St.Mary’s College) now travels to Wanganui on Monday to play the Regional Secondary Schools playoffs.
