Congratulations to Lisa White and Helen King as part of the Wellington Womens Centre team who won the Regional Intercentre at Naenae last weekend. The competition was very close going into the last round with Wellington lying in 3rd place a point behind Wanganui and Kapiti Coast but our girls had a great last round winning all three matches comfortably to surge to the win. Lisa and Helen playing as the Pair had two wins losing their opening match to Kapiti Coast.
Shayne Sincock playing as lead in the pair, also had two wins out of three dropping their middle match to Taranaki. The Naki boys came out on top with 13 points to Wellington’s 11 points.
The National Intercentre finals are March 24th-25th in Auckland.
