A big well done to Kay Carr, Katrina Holland, Lisa White and Helen King progressing with three wins through the Regional play-offs of the NZ Club Champ Fours at the weekend. Lisa, in particular, had to travel from playing the Trans-Tasman Development Test matches in Invercargill on Friday, to Wanganui for the matches on Saturday at the Aramoho club. The reward is a return trip to Invercargill on 20th – 21st April to play the other 5 Regional ‘Pathways’ winners for a national title. Unfortunately for Katrina this clashes with the Wellington Champ of champ Fours.
Helen partnered with Nina De Munnik earlier in the week in the Pairs play-offs but missed out on differential to the Taranaki pair of Valda Rowan and Dulcie Bishop.
