There is a working bee at the club on Sunday morning 4th July at 11am. This is in preparation for the painters to come in and re-do the interior of the clubhouse. All hands appreciated!
Kay Carr and Richard Corry won the Hutt Valley Indoor Bowls Mixed Pairs title. This was the second time winning the title for both players but they had done this previously with different partners.
A week after winning a Catholic national title, Ray Martin impressed again in his first ever national indoor bowls tournament reaching the quarterfinals of the national singles in Taupo. He backed this up the next day with a creditable round of 16 result in the pairs with Rich Corry.
